Welcome to the Homepage of the Real Time Hydrology Group led by Prof. Marco Mancini in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Politecnico di Milano.
Our research includes land surface – atmosphere interactions for watershed models; impacts of climate change on hydrologic and water resource systems; remote sensing of hydrologic systems; non structural measures for flood risk mitigation; river-groundwater interaction.
Our projects range in scale and complexity from field to basin scale integrating hydrological modeling, ground observations, remotely sensed images and weather and climate predictions.
